The ftNano board offers the possibility of controlling Fischertechnik model building elements with an Arduino Nano. To do this, the 5V signals of the Arduino are adapted to the 9V from Fischertechnik. Motors etc. can also be connected via power drivers. The flat plugs from Fischertechnik fit into the special contact holes of the ftNano - no soldering necessary. Suitable for all electronic components from the Fischertechnik model building system.

A commercially available Arduino Nano is plugged onto the ftNano, which can be programmed in C/C++ using the Arduino IDE. No additional libraries are required to access the functions, I/Os or drivers of the ftNano: simply work with the common commands as usual. Alternatively, other programming languages ​​can be used, as well as block-based visual programming languages ​​for children and young people such as Scratch.

  • up to 16 digital inputs and outputs compatible with 9 V/20 mA (2× for interrupts - "fast counting")
  • up to 6 digital power outputs 9 V with up to 200 mA each
  • 4 analog inputs 0 V - 10 V
  • Socket strip for OLED display
  • Socket strip for Bluetooth module HC-06 or similar
  • I²C box connector suitable for Fischertechnik TXT controller 4 (sensors etc.)
  • Socket strips for all I/O pins of the Arduino Nano
  • Power supply 9 V (5-12 V) via power supply, battery, rechargeable battery, etc.
  • All functions of the Arduino Nano can be used (I²C, SPI, UART, PWM, etc.)
  • Use of popular Arduino shields for expansion with sensors and actuators
