OBD II data analysis tool for visualizing 3 measured values ​​(parameters Idetifier, PID)

For data acquisition and signal conversion of vehicle data (engine control unit/ECU). The device will automatically connect via OBD II with the ECU and provides permanent the measured values ​​(so far available):

• PID 5: Engine Coolant Temperature, ECT in ° C, range: -40 ... + 215
• PID 12: Engine Speed, RPM in min ^-1, range: 0 ... 16383.75
• PID 13: Vehicle Speed, VSS in km/h, range: 0 ... 255

Features:

• Automatic protocol recognition and connection (connection: 9-pin Sub-D connector, male).
• Display of measured values ​​(real value and frequency) on the display (3 lines with 16-characters, LED back light) in real time.
• By analogy with the measured values ​​a rectangular-frequency signals are generated (approximately 152...625000 Hz), by optocoupler (open collector outputs) electrically separated (from the vehicle and the Vemedax'C) to the following meassurement writer.
• The measured values ​​are send in a data set to a serial port (38400 Bd, 8N1.) (open collector output)
• OBD II protocol: CAN according to ISO 15765
• It is optionally possible to query and issue additional/other measurements (additional charge according to cost/demand)
